Hi everyone; My name is Julie. I am a 30-something year old woman who recently relocated with my family to Idaho. I am married to my hubby of almost 17 years and we have 5 fur-babies (Yes, I said 5...Don't judge), and 3 kiddos (Aidan, Sophie, and Iain). I am a stay-at-home momma who loves to create in the kitchen and design things on the computer. I am a huge book nerd (even my Twitter name is @lilbitbookish), Outlander fan, Twilight fan, Whovian, and all around geek.
My love of cooking stemmed from an early age. I come from a HUGE Italian-American family and some of my earliest memories are getting to stir the sauce in my Great-Grandma Julie's kitchen in Brooklyn. Even my little brother went to culinary school, so it's kind of a family thing. While not classically trained, I have been told that my food speaks to people. Cooking is relaxing to me, and creating new things makes my hubby happy too.
